REVIEW: St Ives Apricot Scrub (Brightening)

Thumbs-up to this wonderful facial scrub! I cannot pin-point for certain that the 2% salycic acid it contains really helped in curbing acne because that is not really an area of concern for me. I do get one pimple monthly when I get my period, but other than that my face is pretty much clear. I don't think the salycic acid content aids in eliminating that "period pimple" I am prone to getting because this has been an unfortunate trend that's happening to me every month for as long as I can remember. I'm cool with it as long as I don't face break-outs when I'm not having my period. That aside, the scrub does instantaneously  make one's face feel cleaner! Although it is near HG-worthy, I will only shower it with more distinct compliments if it does entirely prevent even the occurrence of ONE pimple.

/edit: This scrub worked fine at the beginning but it gradually broke me out! I have heard excellent reviews about this product though so I am not sure if it is just my case. Whether it was due to over-exfoliation (twice per week) that bogged down my dry-combination skin or me being potentially allergic to salycic acid, I am surely gonna stay far away from it!
