Nivea Extra Whitening Anti-Perspirant Spray

I like this anti-pespirant spray slightly more than my long-standing Soap & Glory Glad Pits. I bought the mini version to test it out and I think I will purchase the full-sized one next. I am unsure about the "extra whitening" claims but I am not bothered by this quality.

Lush Space Girl Bath Bomb

I am highly disappointed with this particular bath bomb, which serves as a major downer because I generally am a huge fan of Lush's products. "Space Girl" failed to colour my bath water well and the scent was insignificant and unnoticable. For its price, I would have expected a way better performance. I surely would not re-purchase and am now quite hesitant to try out other bath bombs from this same line.

Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub

I kind of enjoy using this lip scrub because of the flavour it exudes. I also am pleased with the fact that the exfoliating properties are not too harsh. One can easily and conveniently lick the remaining sugar bits away and they do not taste nasty or chemical-like at all. This product comes with an expiry date, I doubt anyone can finish using this entire tub before it expires because a little goes a long way and just a tiny pinch is sufficient for one usage. I am a fan of lip-exfoliation because I strongly believe that a smoother base paves the way for nicer-looking lips.

Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition Green Tea + Soy Cuticle Oil

Yes, I am back to using cuticle oil instead of cuticle creams or cuticle balms because I have decided that this is a more convenient type of product to utilise. I have thus far only tried this once and am kind of pleased with the fact that it is not too oily. The previous cuticle oil I had from Muji was way oilier in consistency, which can be rather a bane.

Sephora Super Nourishing Lip Balm

 

I am currently using this lip balm. It is average with no spectacular properties. One unique point is that the lip balm is shaped slanted like that of a traditional lipstick. The product actually broke off from the tube after several uses. I am unsure as to whether it is due to weather conditions that resulted in this lip balm from becoming a melted consistency. Overall, I am disappointed, given that it cost me more than a typical lip balm from drugstores. I will not recommend nor re-purchase it.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup

There have been numerous claims that this is a good dupe for Nars Sheer Glow but I have yet to try the latter although I will do so in the near future. It is pretty smudgeproof and the shade 30 Buff suited my skin tone nicely. In all, I like this foundation quite a fair bit. One unfortunate gripe, however, is that the bottle does not come with a pump included and this makes application slightly more tedious as I will have to pour the product on the back of my hand. - Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

I am not a fan of this because the scent was, like that of Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser, rather off-putting. Also, I did not notice any extraordinary cleansing effects. It was, overall, a pretty mediocre product.

- Fresh Supernova Mascara

I am super impressed with this mascara, which is surprising because I would never ever have thought of Fresh as an excellent mascara brand. The lengthening and curling effects were frankly mindblowing. One gripe was that it is not a waterproof product, thus smudging may occur especially if one wears it in a warm environment.

Got a small bottle of sample from a very helpful staff member in one of Seattle's Kiehl's outlet and have been absolutely enjoying this body polish since. I find that it works extremely well in exfoliating my body before I apply Veet. I will surely consider purchasing the full-sized tube.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser

 

The coverage is very light and will barely conceal any flaws that one wishes to shield, thus rendering a concealer absolutely neccessary should there be blemishes one wants to cover up. A bonus of this tinted moisturiser is that it comes with SPF20, yet there does not translate to a redundancy for sunblock. I used to have dry-combination skin, but it is becoming more normalised over time, and this particular tinted moisturiser leaves an oily sheen on my face post-application. Hence, I highly doubt I will recommend this product to oily skin types because it may lead to a super greasy end result. In my opinion, it also works poorly even to even out users' complexion so one can simply do without any base make-up rather than utilise this.

Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion

This is a very heavy body lotion and I will say the consistency leans more towards that of a body cream. Hence, the lotion takes a considerably long time to absorb post-application, thereby leaving my skin rather sticky for a significant period of time. I also did not like the strong scent much. Do not get me wrong, there is no artificial fragrance enhanced in this product, but it definitely did not smell akin to milk nor honey. Overall, I am not a huge fan of Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion and will not re-purchase.
