Shiseido Tsubaki Head Spa Extra Cleansing Shampoo

I use this as a fortifying shampoo once a week to eliminate any product residue on my scalp and keep my hair healthy and clean from the roots. It produces a tingly feeling post-usage which I find interesting and refreshing.

Essential Damage Care Nuance Airy Anti Frizz Serum

I am so glad I invested in this hair serum. I have been searching the market for a good serum that is appropriate for daily use, does not weigh down hair and falls within an affordable price range. This product fulfills all the criterias I set. I apply this every morning after I spray on my Liese Smooth Hair Cocktail to detangle my mane and comb through my locks with a hairbrush. The serum aids in keeping my hair smooth to the touch and eliminates frizziness.

Rosette Hello Kitty Collagen Wash

This collagen wash harbours a super sweet smell that I suspect may come across as off-putting for some. However, it does not bother me much although I prefer it be unscented. It does not overdry my skin post-usage, which poses as a big plus point. I use it every morning.

Soap & Glory Scrub Of Your Life

I am in love with this prettily-packaged body scrub. It works superb in exfoliating my body. I use it without fail before I conduct in-shower hair removal. This is a mini option but I will definitely buy the full-sized squeeze tube once I run out of product.

The Body Shop 100% Natural Lip Roll-On

I am not a huge fan of this lip roll-on from The Body Shop. I bought it simply because I needed another $10 worth to redeem a stamp for my members' card. This product leaves an overly-oily sheen on my lips and does not work fantastically in the moisturisation sector. I will not recommend nor re-purchase.

Moisture Foot Care Mask

Bought this for SGD$2 from Daiso! The concept seems interesting to me and I cannot wait to try it out!

Essential Damage Care Nuance Airy Treatment

This hair treatment is thicker and works better in nourishing my locks than its conditioner counterpart but does not moisturise as well as a hair mask typically would. I use this once a week just to further look after my mane.

Kiehl's Brightening Cleansing Cream

I love this cleansing cream! I feel that it deeply cleanses but does not over-dry nor strip the skin of its natural oil. Kiehl's brightening line is an Asia-exclusive production, hence I was unable to get my hands on this till I came back from the States. I have thus far been very impressed with Kiehl's products and look forward to trying more from their brand.

1. My Beauty Diary Intensive Double Vitamin C Eye Masks

I love love love this eye mask! My HG eye mask used to be Heme Instant Lift And Whitening Eye Mask but this has definitely overtaken ranks. The lifting and brightening effects are highly visible and your eye area does feel instantly refreshed and rejuvenated.

2. My Beauty Diary Caviar Masks

3. Little Twin Stars Masks

Rimmel Natural Bronzer

(021 Sun light)

I am very happy with this bronzer. I used it as shading powder the other day and the tone fits my skin colour perfectly. I apply the bronzer with my MAC Large Angled Contour Brush (168). I have heard reviews with regard to how this is the best drugstore brand of bronzer but I am unable to testify to that as this is the first bronzer I have ever tried. However, I would certainly assert that this is a splendid buy given its pleasant result and wallet-friendly price.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer

(shade: Ivory)

This highlighting concealer is not long-lasting at all. It tends to smudge and disappear after a few hours of wear. However, to give it some credit, it does add radiance to the undereye area post-application. I only use this on my undereye area for highlighting + concealing purposes and do not utilise it anywhere else on my face. I am on the fence with regard to this product. I doubt it is available in Singapore currently for I purchased it in the States. However, local interested parties should not envy for it is something I doubt I myself will repurchase. There have been rumours circulating in the online beauty world that this is a dupe of the more pricey YSL Touché Éclat. I do own the YSL option but have not gotten around to opening it.

MY HAIRCARE ROUTINE

I make it an important point to cleanse my hair daily without fail, oily and greasy hair just does not look flattering at all. I only wash my hair once a day, this sufficiently cleanses my scalp but does not dry out my hair. I am neither a huge advocate nor firm believer in using hair products from entirely the same brand, although there are people out there who find that, in doing so, the products under the same line can function collaboratively well together. My top favourite picks for shampoo and conditioner have got to be either Garnier Fructis or Essential Nuance Airy. Unfortunately, I doubt the former can be found locally in Singapore, hence I gravitate my preference more towards the latter. Essential, in my opinion, is a wonderful drugstore brand and provides the best bang for your buck. Once a week, I stray from my usual routine of shampooing and conditioning of my mane to switch the process up a little. Instead of applying conditioner after shampoo, I use hair mask to further nourish my long locks. Hair masks are designed for several good purposes, such as adding intensive moisturisation, strengthening the particularly weak and vulnerable ends and smoothing out the frizziness in general. My favourite hair mask choice is the pink tub containing a perfect combination of honey and shea butter delight, similarly by Essential. It is wallet-friendly and one tub can last me up to a few months. After showering, I towel-dry my mane via a gentle patting motion. This is to prevent unnecessary tugging or pulling actions that may damage the hair terribly. When I am completed with my nightly post-shower skincare routine that takes about fifteen minutes, I blow-dry my hair. I start out by applying low heat and blow-dry my hair until it is no longer very damp. Then, it is at this point that I apply what I deem as the most crucial haircare product ever - moroccan argan oil. I love moroccan argan oil as it has definitely aided in improving my hair condition considerably. I smooth an appropriate dallop-sized amount of this beneficial oil into my hair as evenly as possible, then run my fingers deftly through my locks to ensure there is no tangling. Please avoid using too generous an amount of oil for that may weigh the hair down. I finish off the blow-drying process by applying cool air to seal in the positivity of moroccan argan oil. Some points to take note of while blow-drying is to ensure that the nozzle of the blow-dryer points downwards. This is to prevent frizzing of the hair after it has dried. Also, one should try to hold the device a short distance away instead of putting it super close to the scalp. This is a bid to lessen heat damage. One who is looking to input volume into one's hair should blow-dry the parting in its opposite direction. There are many different brands of moroccan argan oil retailing in the market but I choose to purchase Organix. It is the cheapest and most convenient brand for me. At night, I tend to lift my whole head of hair and sleep with my mane spreaded across the pillow. I discovered that this technique allows my hair to maintain its straightness the next morning. In addition to the aforementioned reason surrounding vanity, it prevents my hair from choking me in my sleep because I do have pretty long locks. Everyday in the morning, before I leave the house, I spray my hair with Liese Smooth Hair Cocktail. This unique product assists in eliminating existing tangles and effectively paves the way for easy and smooth hair-brushing after. The cocktail also emits a pleasant scent that lightly lingers in the hair. Here I end off my simple and quite fuss-free haircare routine. Hope this helps those interested.

REVIEW: Sophie Monk Whitening Essence

This whitening essence pumps out in a liquified form, which surprised me initially as I was quite used to the gel-like consistency of my previous whitening essence from Muji. The product goes on smoothly on the face and there was, thank goodness, no intolerable scent. It is still way too early a stage to derive a conclusion with regard to the effectiveness of this whitening essence but hopefully time will tell and I will certainly check back then. Stay tuned if you are interested!

Victoria's Secret The Hand Cream

I am liking this hand cream quite a bit. The scent is rather pleasant and there is no post-application greasy feel which I totally abhor. Another superficial bonus to this product is the pretty packaging. Pink always attracts me.
