Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder makes getting glam-and-tan downright delicious. Too Faced combines the natural, therapeutic effects of real cocoa powder with their signature bronzing pigments, creating a unique matte bronzer that neutralizes red and evens out and enhances all skintones. The complexion is left with a flawless finish, a gorgeous radiance, and a subtly sweet scent. - sephora.com

Nivea Lip Butter

Revlon PhotoReady Concealer

I typically would not gravitate towards non-liquid concealers but I purchased this on a whim. The coverage is heavy and the consistency is thick but creamy and smooth. However, using too much will lead to a caking effect. I would only apply this on its own if I am not intending to opt for foundation.

Canmake Whip Mousse Lip

I own the shade 'Honey Orange' (most right). I did not enjoy this product. It goes on gloopy on the lips and leaves a strange albeit matte finish. Canmake recommends using this as a cheek colour too but I would not try that out for sure. This Whip Mousse Lip is one product I regret buying.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

I was previously using the RMK eyelash curler (my first ever eyelash curler) and had always found that to be fine for me. Check out my review on that here. My friend recently gifted my the Shu Uemura eyelash curler which she purchased in Japan and I must say I can understand the hype surrounding this beauty tool. Shu Uemura's eyelash curler performs better than RMK, in my opinion.

Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder

A weightless, translucent powder for all skintones that creates a soft matte finish that looks luminous in any light. - Sephora.com

REVIEW: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye

I do enjoy this eye cream and have noticed subtle differences after using it religiously in my night time skincare routine. For its price point, it is certainly a worthwhile purchase.

REVIEW: Burt's Bees Daisy White Eye Cream

This is a very simple eye cream - nothing fancy. It probably works alright for those who just want a super basic eye cream that provides minimal moisturisation. I have not noticed any significant whitening effects post-usage. Will not re-purchase.

SUKIN

Sukin is an Australian natural skincare line. I switched to this skincare brand because I started becoming more discerning about the ingredients in my skincare products and wanted to have as little chemicals come into contact with my skin as possible. After testing out Sukin, I have truly fallen in love with their products (except for the Protein Shampoo which really did not work out for my hair and scalp). That aside, these few other products I have totally adored are depicted below.

1. Sukin Facial Moisturiser

This daily moisturiser provides fast absorbing, deeply penetrating hydration that softens and soothes skin. A lightweight cream which combines a delicate infusion of aloe vera, horsetail, nettle and burdock to soothe with skin healing rose hip, wheat germ, jojoba and avocado oil to promote healthy skin.

2. Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner

This alcohol-free, skin hydrating mist combines chamomile and rosewater to help soothe, tone and cool tired skin. Use after cleansing or whenever your skin feels tired or stressed. Perfect for hot days, long flights or long days in an air-conditioned environment.

3. Sukin Hand and Nail Cream

This non greasy, light, moisture rich formula combines hydrolyzed soy protein to strengthen nails and cuticles with aloe vera and vitamin E to soothe, soften and protect hardworking hands.

4. Sukin Nourishing Conditioner

This conditioner adds volume and shine while preventing tangles and static. Combines a delicate infusion of aloe vera, nettle, horsetail and burdock with rosehip, avocado, jojoba and sesame oils.

5. Sukin Protein Shampoo

With strengthening rice and wheat proteins and avocado, jojoba, rose hip and vitamin E to lock in moisture. This lightweight formula conditions hair leaving it manageable and full of bounce.

There have been a couple other Sukin products that I am looking forward to buy and try.

1. Sukin Antioxidant Eye Serum

Soothing aloe vera, cucumber and burdock provide the perfect blend of plant proteins to offer deep rehydration to the delicate eye area. Rose hip, evening primrose and borage oils help improve skin elasticity and texture, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

2. Sukin Wellbeing Body Oil

This 100% natural and luxurious blend of botanical oils helps to soothe the body and mind. Rose hip oil offers the skin instant hydration, promoting skin elasticity and radiance, while Marula seed oil is antioxidant rich to soothe skin and help improve skin texture. Soybean oil, rich in EFA's (essential fatty acids) for deep skin conditioning, along with calendula flower extract, rich in beta-carotene to soothe skin help regenerate damaged skin, leaving it soft & silky. This multi-use  body oil is ideal for massage or for use as a bath oil, post shaving or waxing and as a hand or foot treatment to soothe the skin, leaving no oily residue.

3. Sukin Natural Deodarant

This aluminium free and paraben free deodorant eliminates the bacteria that causes odour without using harsh ingredients. A delicate blend of tangerine, mandarin and lavender oils, combined with vanilla extract will leave you smelling and feeling fresh and clean.

As a huge fan of Sukin, I urge y'all to check its website out and their products for yourself at http://www.sukinorganics.com :)

Benefit Hello Flawless! Powder

I got the shade 'Champagne', which is a tad too dark and orange-y for my skin tone. The finish is truly flawless and the coverage is high - covers up any blemishes that the liquid foundation worn beneath may have not. However, I find that this powder tends to mattify my complexion too much. I would recommend this to oily skin types or those who just want to apply powder alone and still enjoy sufficient coverage.

Veet EasyGrip Ready To Use Wax Strips (Sensitive Skin)

I had always used Veet EasyGrip Ready-to-Use Wax Strips (Dry Skin) (review here) but I recently tried out the alternative for sensitive skin and it works so much better. I personally do not have skin sensitivity issues but I would still recommend this to anyone regardless of skin type.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Eye shadow shades: Venus (soft, off-white demi-matte), Foxy (very light yellow/white matte), Walk of Shame (very light nude matte), Naked2 (taupe matte), Faint (warm, dusty brown matte) and Crave (deepest, darkest brown/black matte).

Too Faced Glamour To Go Spun Sugar Edition

REVIEW: Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette

One of the most cost-effective blush palettes in the market in my opinion. This palette comes in a variety of shades and the colour payoff is not bad at all.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer

I own the shades Light and Medium in my Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything kit. Medium is a tad too dark for my skin tone so I only use the Light shade. I tried it today on my under eyes and face. I have no gripes with this product but I personally very much prefer liquid concealers over cream-based ones.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer

I used this primer today, underneath my Candy Doll Liquid Foundation. The product went on my face just as smoothly and the texture felt just as silky, in comparison to my usual Benefit The POREfessional. I would say both Benefit The POREfessional and Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer are highly similar and almost indistinguishable to the common user.

Primer-wise, I am excited to try Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance next.

The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer

Initially, I was shocked by how dark the bronzer turned out on my complexion, but applying with a lighter hand eliminates that issue. I now really enjoy this product.

Benefit Speed Brow

This is my current holy grail brow product. I have thick eyebrows that fortunately require no filling in and as such, I do not own many brow-related cosmetics at all. However, to prevent my brows from appearing too unruly at times, this Speed Brow from Benefit has been a life-saver! I very much prefer this over Anastasia Brow Gel (which has a strong chemical scent and tends to harden the brow hairs post-application). I have heard many beauty gurus report utilising Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara as a brow gel substitute and I look forward to testing that out too.

Sierra Bees Lip Balms

Got these two lip balms off iHerb for free. I hated the awful scents - very off-putting!

Organix Biotin & Collagen Root Boost Spray

I have realised that Organix's packagings for spray products absolutely suck! There is always a malfunction with their compression springs. This product does provide a little additional volume to the hair but I still would not recommend nor re-purchase because the nozzle always screws up.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

I first heard about this concealer from Zoella on YouTube. I recently chanced upon it in Watsons in Singapore and decided to try it out. The consistency is very creamy and the coverage is wonderful. I own the shade 'fair' but I think 'light' may have worked better for my skin tone. This product supposedly performs well on both under eye and face areas - I typically solely use this particular concealer to cover any tiny facial blemishes but I once tried it for under eye concealing and it worked fine too.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Eye Cream Concealer

I have never been a particularly huge fan of Bourjois' cosmetics and only bought this concealer on a whim because my YSL Touche Eclat had run out and the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer was out-of-stock in Singapore. To my pleasant surprise, I was quite happy with the coverage and consistency of this product. My one gripe lies with the packaging - too much product flows out from the silicone applicator with each twist and that will dirty the cap if one does not clean off the excess from the applicator after use.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Mats

Shade: 204 Rouge Scandal

I received this as a Christmas present from a friend and have yet to open it. I am certainly looking forward to trying this as my first ever YSL lip product.

For now, those interested in other relevant reviews on this lippie can refer to MUA: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=155064/Rouge-Pur-Couture-The-Mats-Mat-No.-204-Rouge-Scandal/Yves-Saint-Laurent/Lipstick

Too Faced Lip Injection Colour Bomb Moisture Plumping Lip Tint

Shade: Bee Sting

I absolutely hated this product. It made my lips tingle but there was no visible plumping effect. Additionally, the colour payoff was practically non-existent. It will also accentuate any dryness on the lips.

American Apparel Lip Gloss

This is the shade I own - African Violet. The colour payoff is amazing, considering the budget-friendly price (about USD$12).

Here are some of the other available shades at American Apparel.

Candy Doll Cheek Colour (Strawberry Pink & Carrot Orange)

Benefit lovin'

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Intense Moisturising Treatment

I have tried numerous hair masks from the Organix line and none have disappointed. This has got to be my favourite though.

Yves Saint Lauren Touche Eclat

This is hands-down one of the best undereye concealers in the market that I have tried. Throughout the day, there is no undereye creasing or product sinking into fine lines and the product held on impressively well. I will most certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a radiant concealer, and will definitely re-purchase.

P.S. I use the shade 25.

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mascara

I first heard about this product from Hollyannaeree on YouTube and she was raving about how good this mascara was, hence I knew I absolutely had to purchase it when I went America.

This is not my first CoverGirl mascara experience. I had previously tried the much-acclaimed Lash Blast mascara by CoverGirl and found it a tad overrated. It is still a considerably good mascara but I do not fully comprehend the major hype surrounding it.

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mascara has a relatively dry consistency, in comparison to many other Western brands of mascaras, which was to my liking. I also bought the waterproof version so there was no smudging throughout the day. Overall, this mascara performed pretty well and I was pleased. In fact, I may just prefer this over Lash Blast!

Ma Cherie Aqua Energy Mist

Shiseido MA CHERIE Aqua Energy Mist contains abundant water particles that can deeply penetrate to the roots of the hair, tidying the messy hair at once. It is also added the extract of bees which can nourish the hair efficiently. Under superior protection of the protection, hair just gets away with the high temperature when styling. - SASA.com

Benefit Mascaras - They're Real! VS BADgal Lash

I personally do not find any distinct differences between drugstore and high-end mascaras, which explains why I do not particularly veer towards the more expensive mascaras with the mindset that they will perform better. Benefit's mascaras are, in line with my aforementioned opinion, only of an average standard - nothing too lousy nor fancy. In this case, I very much prefer BADgal Lash over They're Real! because the former has a drier consistency, unlike the latter which constantly results in under eye smudging. With that said, I would not pay for these two mascaras (scored both travel-sized versions for free) and would rather seek out better, cheaper alternatives.

Check out my individual reviews of these mascaras!

Benefit They're Real! Mascara

Heard of numerous raves about this mascara online but my personal take on it is that it is merely mediocre. Firstly, it is not waterproof, which is a major con for me because my lashes do smudge on my under eye area throughout the day. Secondly, the wand is relatively huge, so the application process can be challenging since I have to be careful about the wand touching my inner eyelid. I have had tried many other better mascaras in the market so I doubt I would buy the full-sized version (FYI: I received this travel-sized mascara in a Benefit cosmetics set.)

Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub

This is my all-time utmost favourite body scrub. The brown sugar scent is awesome and the exfoliating particles are not too shabby nor too harsh - just perfect! Also, one tub lasts a seriously long time. Highly recommend!

Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer The Original professional detangling hairbrush is loved by hairdressers and used in professional hair salons. It's a super smooth operator that works the minute hair is lathered and rinsed. Glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking. Hair peace at last! - tangleteezer.com
