Innisfree Wine Peeling Jelly Softener

Received a few samples and was frankly initially hesitant to try it out because I wasn't too sure what "jelly softener" was all about. Upon application, my first impression was that it resembled Cure Natural Aqua Gel because white flakes emerge when you rub the jelly all over your face (supposedly dead skin being exfoliated). To be honest, I don't know if the white flakes are actually dead skin from my face or if they are just a by-product of the peeling jelly softener. Overall, I did not notice a significant difference in the smoothness and clarity of my skin post-usage. I did however feel my skin tightening and becoming more dry.

Derma E Hydrating eye cream

A simple, fuss-free eye cream that I got off iHerb. Would recommend this wallet-friendly option for anyone who's in the market for a relatively good eye moisturiser. However, personally would not re-purchase because I prefer stronger eye creams.

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel

This mascara has a very unique wand (as pictured), so I was frankly quite sceptical going into using it. However, the mascara does work well in keeping my lashes curled so I was rather impressed. The thin wand also made it easier for my to apply product on to my lower lashes.

Keana Rice Mask

Product has a strong alcohol scent so that was a little off-putting. Also did not notice the sheet masks helping to tighten or minimise my pores as well.

Burberry Cashmere concealer

I am shade #1 Porcelain. Super lightweight concealer that does not provide much coverage for the under eye area. I tried to use it for blemishes but it just would not work. Will not re-purchase and do not recommend.

Too Faced Metallic Sparkle Lipstick (That Girl)

I find that this works better as a lippie topper than a lipstick on its own, as the shade can be a tad overwhelming and not very flattering for my skin tone.

NYX Liquid Suede lipstick (Kitten Heels)

The lipstick smudges so easily and gets everywhere, especially on the teeth.

Received the following samples from Innisfree:

1. Whitening Pore Facial Cleanser
2. Whitening Pore Skin
3. Whitening Pore Cream

Did not use the pore skin product as I do not use toners. Thought the line was alright in general.

Bliss Triple Oxygen Self-Activating Facial

A little gimmicky, but it does kinda work. If I use this in-shower (as the last step after cleansing my face), I feel like my face is like tight/dry when I step out.

NYX Wonder Stick

I admit that cream/stick bronzers/highlighters are more tedious and troublesome to use than powder options, however the effect post-application is always more beautiful and natural. I am obsessed with this NYX Wonder Stick - inexpensive and creates subtle contours. I use the universal shade. 

Too Faced Born This Way concealer

No extraordinary recollection of this concealer, so I guess it was just mediocre and average in performance.

Not a fan of this concealer - does not build up well in terms of coverage, and did little to hide my dark circles or brighten the undereye area.

This eye cream was ok. Did nothing spectacular for anti-aging, brightening and de-puffing, but it did keep my undereye area hydrated throughout the night.

I'll be honest with you - this product came as a shock to me. If you're expecting a solid textured roll-on deodorant, this will let you down because the deodorant is in liquid form (think essential oils). I found that I had to air my pits for a tad post-application so the deodorant can dry before I put on my top to avoid staining.

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

I use this as my morning face cleanser and it doesn't strip my skin of hydration. I am only my second tube now.

Mason collagen beauty cream

I use this as a neck cream. Product claims it's pear-scented but I don't smell anything. Like the texture - not too heavy or sticky. Will have to use it for a while longer before I establish a verdict on its effectiveness.

Tony Moly Peach hand cream

It is certainly more troublesome to use this tub of hand cream than as compared to if the product could be dispensed from a squeeze tube. Nonetheless, I do like the light texture and pleasant peachy scent.

Son & Park Beauty Water

I have been masking every night in a bid to keep my skin moisturised through the night and looking young. Instead of washing off the residue from the sheet mask, I pour Son & Park Beauty Water on a cotton pad and pat my face with it. It soaks up the stickiness of the mask residue, while keeps my face hydrated as well. However, I can smell a slight alcohol scent so just flagging for those who are sensitive/particular about this.

Suppin Powder

Purchased this from Don Quijote in Japan. Love it! It is not too matte and keeps my make-up even. Plus it has a nice, subtle scent.

CoverGirl Total Tease mascara

Am pretty much on the fence about this mascara. While it does not smudge and holds curl very well, it does clump a little and causes my lashes to fall out when I'm removing my make-up.

Farsali Unicorn Essence

According to Sephora's website, this is "a dual-purpose serum to prep skin for makeup application and help protect from free-radical damage." I use it as a primer and am absolutely smitten with it! Brightens my complexion and enhances the radiance of my face post-application.

EOS Delicate Petals body lotion

A body moisturiser with lightweight consistency and a slight scent. 

Urban Decay Troublemaker mascara

Nothing spectacular about this mascara - does not hold curl well. Would not re-purchase. Also, is it just me or are drugstore brand mascaras better?
