REVIEW: Sephora Cream Lip Stains

I am obsessed with Sephora Cream Lip Stains! They go on smooth and pigmented, and does not dry out the lips too much (just a little, but that is probably inevitable with lip stains in general). I love the finish look of these lip stains and will highly recommend to anyone!

I first heard about the brand from Checkinthemirror on YouTube, but I never thought to find this line so readily in Singapore's Guardian outlet. To be frank, I was unsure what to expect of this product. The name is certainly very unique. Surprisingly, the product smells quite pleasant when sprayed and definitely helps in detangling hair (although I never had much of a problem with tangled hair in the first place).

1. It is very rare catching me without painted nails. I do my nails myself because I see no point in investing in a nail salon package when I am fully capable of doing my own nails - and pretty well at that. Also, I have to paint my finger nails and toe nails the same colour. It irks me to have different coloured manicures and pedicures.

2. I make it a point to remove my make-up (if I am wearing any) before I go to bed / before any workout. I do not advocate sleeping / exercising with make-up on.

3. I prefer waterproof mascaras because I hate smudging - yes, even if it means I have to use waterproof eye make-up removers. I always use waterproof eye make-up removers anyway.

4. I wear contact lenses when I'm out of the house but I immediately remove them and switch into spectacles once I come back home. It is one of the first few things I do when I return home.

5. I always blow dry my hair after washing and I cannot do without my trusty Organix Moroccan Argan Oil during the process.

6. I almost always use a different concealer for undereye and face.

7. Before bed every night, I apply lip balm and hand cream for overnight hydration.

8. If I am wearing eyeshadows, I will most certainly apply primer on my eyelids prior. Eyeshadows without primer are a no-go for me, not because I have oily lids, but because I think primers make eyeshadow colours more vibrant.

9. When going for a lighter make-up routine, I will opt to skip foundation and simply go with undereye and face concealers, then topping the process off with a light dusting of powder. Foundations are reserved for occasions when I am going full-on with my make-up.

10. I am not a big fan of lip glosses. I prefer the look of matte lip colours more and prefer to stick with lipsticks.

REVIEW: YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

Not gonna lie, I can be pretty clumsy when it comes to mascara application. I tend to prefer smaller wands and drier formulations because I abhor smudging and clumping. The YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils wand is really thin and the formulation is not too goopy, hence making the application process a breeze. The mascara also held up my curled lashes quite well. I also really like how it lengthens my lashes significantly too, despite it being a volumising mascara. In all, I am a fan of this high-end mascara.

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

I have a mini trial bottle of Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution. I recently began using a tiny drop of this all over my face after toner (Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner) and before moisturiser (Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Hydrating Moisture Emulsion). Although it is still too early to detect any noticeable effects, I am looking forward to improvements in my overall skin tone courtesy of this product.

I did not notice any extraordinary results after finishing the whole small bottle.
