REVIEW: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua

The texture is very watery and the consistency is very runny. It seemingly resembles more of a tinted moisturiser than a fluid foundation. The coverage is lighter than other liquid foundations from the Chanel line, thus making it a more suitable option for a younger audience who need not require such heavy, full coverages. To the more picky consumers, the shades available can be rather limited. There are 5 shades for pinkish and yellowish undertones each, 10 shades in total. Here's an image of swatches by cafemakeup:

From what I am aware of, B10-B50 are directed more towards the Asians because of our warm skin tones and BR10-BR50 will work better on Caucasians with cool skin tones. Being experimental, I swatched 3 different shades for comparison purposes. B10-B30 blended fine on my skin but I decided to go with B20 due to the Chanel SL's recommendation. I was concerned that B10 might cause my face to appear like an unnatural white mask and also eliminate the glowy look I'd like to achieve with my bright face sunscreen and highlighting primer base.

In conclusion, I am loving Vitalumiere Aqua! As of now, I swear by Chanel's foundations.
