REVIEW: Shu Uemura Deepsea Water Mist
As many are aware, Clinique's toners include a minimum amount of alcohol. This is effective because I acknowledge that alcohol kills bacteria and my Clinique clarifying lotion aids in exfoliating germs from the skin, thereby preventing development of pimples. However, people with sensitive skin should refrain from using products with alcohol content as it may lead to disastrous consequences. As a result of the alcohol content in my Clinique toner, this may possibly cause my skin to become dry after toning. To counter it, I spritz my face and neck with Shu Uemura Deepsea Water Mist after toning and lightly pat my skin to seal in the moisture boost. I learnt from an online skincare guru, fuzkittie, that without the action of gently patting, the moisture from any facial sprays will evaporate and not be absorbed fully into the skin. I then resume my normal skincare routine after re-hydrating my skin with the moisture from the mist. I will not re-purchase Shu Uemura Deepsea Water Mist because it is comparatively pricey and there are many other options available in the market such as Evian Mineral Water Spray and Avene Thermale Spring Water Spray. Anyone heard of Bio-Essence Tanaka White Spa Refreshing & Whitening Face Mist? It claims to be capable of "instant fairness & coolness" with 1 spray. I have some reservations but it sounds promising. Will check it out asap!
