Victoria's Secret + Estee Lauder

Victoria's Secret Hydrating Body Lotion (Ravishing Love)

This can be considered my daytime body moisturiser. I only apply this after undergoing hair removal process (I use Veet). This is to re-hydrate my body and replenish the moisture that could possibly have been stripped off. I usually do not utilise a daytime body moisturiser and instead simply slather on sunscreen when I head out. Yet this can all change if I finally decide to invest in Nivea Extra Whitening Inner Cell Repair Body Milk.

Estee Lauder Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

I have never been a fan of Estee Lauder's products, be it in either the skincare or make-up department. In my opinion, brands such as Estee Lauder, YSL, Lancome and Clarins tend towards a more mature consumer audience. This is why I chose Clinique over Clarins when I initially started out my basic skincare routine. However, I do use Lancome Youth Activating Eye Concentrate because the eye area is definitely the most vulnerable area of concern which requires intensive care from a young age. Hence, I do not mind the rich and heavy formulation and relatively thick and creamy consistency. That said, I am still very hesitant about the other Lancome products because I fear they may be too harsh on my skin. I share this same set of sentiments with regard to YSL Beauty which is why I am abstaining from the highly-raved Touche Éclat. I digressed. About a month ago, I switched all my Estee Lauder cosmetics with other brands because I was just not enjoying them. This eye make-up remover is the sole Estee Lauder product I still use and that is only because my L'Oreal Lip and Eye Make-Up Remover has run out. The Estee Lauder make-up remover is undeniably less oily than the L'Oreal one but I harbour a misconstrued paranoia that it contains alcohol content. I will certainly switch to another brand soon. I urgently need a collaborative remover for both eyes and lips.
