ZA Concealer Perfection 2
This concealer has been with me for a really long time. There was a period of time I totally neglected it because I did not see a major need to incorporate concealing into my make-up routine. I will admit I am rather shoddy when it comes to cosmetics because I genuinely believe skincare is a more crucial aspect. Hence, there was still a lot of product left despite me owning this little tube for quite some time. When I began re-using it, I realised the shade did not fit my skin tone anymore. I have grown much fairer since my younger days and the concealer was simply too dark for me. I recently decided to chuck it out for hygiene purposes (nobody is willing to take the cheap risk of facial contamination right?) and got myself Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer as a replacement. Unfortunately, the Revlon one is not working out too fantastically for me so my search for a brand new concealer resumes. Albeit that being said, I am gradually beginning to see that concealing is quite redundant because foundations and BB creams seem to do the job fine enough for me. Maybe I should just go back to my original stance of doing away with concealing entirely.
Clinique High Impact Mascara Black 1
I gotta admit, this mascara is a surprising gem that seemingly did nothing for me at initial stages but slowly grew on me as time passed.
Lengthening: 80%
Volumising: 50%
These are two major categories that I pay particular attention to when it boils down to rating mascaras. Some bonus points include no clumping and clearly defined separation of eyelashes after application. This Clinique baby does not clump and really defines lashes very well. I am pleasantly amazed because I honestly did not hold high expectations for this bland-looking product since the first time I laid my hands on this freebie. Nevertheless, it bowed down to the previous Maybelline XXL mascara that I owned which my Mom adored to bits as well. I have now switched over to RMK Extra Deep W Mascara which seems to work even greater magic on my eyes.
Clinique Superbalm Moistursing Gloss Apricot 1
I have nothing much to comment on this lipgloss because it did not leave a lasting impression. The gloss wore off pretty quickly and it did not feel extremely moisturising at all. Sure, it did add a clear glossy tinge to my lips but that was about all the remarkable positivity it committed. There was certainly no apricot colour with regard to the shiny sheen it temporarily left on my lips. I would definitely not have purchased this but I got it as a freebie. It was a disappointing lipgloss indeed.
