SHOWDOWN: Watsons Moisturising Lip Balm Strawberry VS Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm

I am not a huge fan of applying lip balms in the night before I head to bed, yet I find it extremely important to utilise a lip balm with SPF in the day beneath lipstick or lip gloss because not only does it protect lips against UV rays, it also prevents lip cosmetics from staining the lips' original pigmentation. These are the two lip balms I own which I sometimes apply before hitting the sack. Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm smells a tad similar to ginger, Watsons Moisturising Lip Balm has a nicer strawberry scent which I adore. Both fared average standards in maintaining the moisture level of my lips throughout the night. I doubt I will invest in lip balms for the night anymore except just keeping one in my stash for probable emergency purposes.
