REVIEW: Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer

For the Revlon Age-Defying Spa Concealer did not work too well on me, I purchased this Bourjois replacement during sale. It is better than Revlon's in concealing dark eye circles because of its correcting tone. Revlon's shade was a tad too light for my eye circles and instead of concealing them, it tended to create "raccoon eyes", a trait that YSL Touche Eclat had a record of doing too. The Bourjois concealer harboured a sweet apricot scent that I adore. I bought shade 52 (medium radiance) for Bourjois and the tone is slightly too dark for my face when I rarely apply concealer on occasional spots. Hence, I use the Revlon's concealer for my face in such cases. The Bourjois one is mainly reserved for use on my eye circles when they are severe (especially now that I am bogged down by a busy school life of late nights and early mornings). Mother used to advocate Bourjois cosmetics when she was younger but after having a mere average experience with the brand's Little Round Pot blusher, I barely took a double take at any stuff under the Bourjois line. Recently, my friends and I went to the Bourjois counter at BHG because one of my pal wanted to stock up on Bourjois So Delicate Lip Cream which is going to be discontinued. That friend of mine had been using this particular lip cream for years and swears by it. So for any of you out there who is also an ardent fan of the same lip cream, you may want to stock up now at any Bourjois counters in BHG (the only locations left retailing this product).
