After sharing a positive experience with the Acnes Tea Tree Oil Clay Mask and eyeing the Acnes Creamy Wash for quite some time now, I decided to take the plunge and make my purchase recently. Once again, Acnes did not disappoint. The facial wash is indeed much creamier in texture and formulation than Clinique Liquid Facial Soap and feels more attainable of deep cleansing than the latter. Hence, I utilise the Acnes one in the evenings and the Clinique one in the mornings. Acnes Creamy Wash promises to prevent the development of pimples, control oil secretion, eliminate excess sebum and clean out pores. Unfortunately, I have yet to test whether it has achieved all these big claims because this is a very new addition to my purchases. Nevertheless, I attribute thumbs-up to this little tube because it left my face feeling squeaky clean but non-drying. I typically abhor cleansing products that generate a "squeaky clean" sensation because I am paranoid that it may cause further skin dryness but this creamy wash managed to retain my facial moisture.
