MAC

My personal take on MAC has always been that it is a heavily over-hyped brand. I currently do not have a single product from MAC but I used to own one or two of their eyeshadows when I was in high school. I shared a mere mediocre experience with those eyeshadows and never fancied this brand much anymore. Just the other day, while I was out shopping with my Mother, we stopped by MAC counter to take a look. The SL was extremely friendly and efficiently attended to me. I was perfectly matched to NC25 which I accurately predicted myself to be. The SL enthusiastically introduced two products to me - MAC liquid foundation and MAC mineralized skinfinish powder. I did not particularly enjoy MAC's liquid foundation because I felt that the coverage was too heavy for my preference. Do note that my choice of liquid foundation is Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and its coverage is already more than sufficient for me. I also did not take a liking to their mineralized skinfinish powder because it felt too thick on my face. Loose powder is definitely a more fitting type of setting powder in my case.
