fairer skin

It is official. My current skin colour is almost a shade lighter than before. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20 is just a tad too dark for me now. To solve this problem, since I still have about 7/8 of the bottle to go, I have, for the past month, been wearing more primer and less foundation whenever I apply the latter. I go through base make-up extremely slowly because I only use a tiny amount each time. As my Sephora Highlighting Primer is pink and shimmery, it emits a glow to my face as well as counteracts my yellow undertones. This assists in effectively brightening my complexion. In addition, I decrease the amount of foundation I use so that the layer goes on more sheer. As such, the foundation shade will not come across as too dark. I am still apprehensive as to whether I am happy or not with the situation at hand. It is certainly a joy to get fairer skin but at the same time, even the slightest blemishes can potentially be emphasised. Nonetheless, this shall serve as a good motivation for me to protect my skin. Wish me luck!
