Maybelline The Rocket Mascara

I do quite like this mascara. It has pretty good volumising and lengthening properties. The formula is not too wet, which aligns with my preference. Although the brush on the wand is quite big, it does not cause smudging on my eyelids - this is definitely a plus point as smudging is one of my top pet peeves. Note that applying too many coats may result in clumping.

In all, I do enjoy Maybelline's mascaras. Here are some of other Maybelline mascaras that I have gone through:

• Maybelline XXL Mascara

My least favourite from all the Maybelline mascaras that  have tried has got to be the Great Lash. It just did nothing for me.

NYX Collection Noir Skinny Black Liner

I am absolutely horrid at doing an eyeliner look, especially when it comes to using a liquid liner. I very much prefer twist-up liner application. Hence, I was understandably elated to chance upon this product at a Sephora outlet in Singapore. The word "skinny" just really captured my attention and interest - It is something different, at least in my books. I was keeping my fingers crossed that this skinny liner can give me a thin and precise, almost liquid liner look, but with way easier control during application. However, after purchasing it and giving it a go, I realised that the colour payoff was not intensely black enough and the line drawn on with this liner was not thin nor clean-cut enough. I was naturally disappointed. This cost me SGD$11 so it was quite a bargain. Nevertheless, I will not recommend nor re-purchase.
