MY HAIRCARE ROUTINE (updated)

I wash my hair every single night before I head to bed. I am currently using Essential Nuance Airy shampoo & conditioner. I typically alternate between Essential's Rich Premier and Nuance Airy lines just to switch my routine up but Essential is my favourite go-to brand of choice. The budget-friendly prices and moisturising properties of Essential's shampoos and conditioners more than justify my consistent re-purchasing. Once a week, I exchange my Essential shampoo for Shiseido Tsubaki Head Spa Cleansing Shampoo which is a fortifying shampoo that cleanses the scalp from any build-up or product residue. This cleansing shampoo leaves a minty, cooling sensation on my scalp but can be a tad drying for my hair. On days that I use the cleansing shampoo in replacement of my usual Essential shampoo, I also exchange my Essential conditioner for a hair mask. Hair masks are generally meant to be more nourishing and hydrating than conditioners so that works out fine. I have tried numerous hair masks in the market but my current favourite is Organix Macadamia Oil Hair Mask. I enjoy Organix's hair products quite a bit and have tested several hair masks from the brand. The Macadamia Oil option is my favourite hair mask of them all because it seems the most moisturising to me and the scent is also very pleasant. After getting on with the rest of my shower routine and getting out of the shower, my hair care procedure continues with me proceeding to blow dry my locks. I spritz Desert Essence Hair Defrizzer & Heat Protector several times all over my hair before blow drying with heat. I blow dry my hair till it goes from wet/damp to slightly dry before applying a generous amount of Organix Argan Oil on my mane. Organix Argan Oil is a HG hair product for me and I have gone through so many bottles of it. After applying argan oil, I go back to blow drying my hair with heat till it completely dries. Not sure how accurate I am with this mentality but I believe the hot air allows the oil to absorb quicker into my hair follicles. When my hair is pretty much fully dry, I change my blow dryer's temperature to cool air and blow dry my whole head with it one last round. I read somewhere before that blow drying one's hair with cool air as the final step helps to close the hair follicles and lock in all the hair product goodness applied. With that, I conclude my hair drying process which typically takes less than 5 minutes. I do not wash my hair in the morning. Before I head out of home in the day, I spray Organix Biotin & Collagen Spray 3 or 4 times on the crown of my head and massage the product in a little. I like this hair spray for its root-boosting properties to give my mane more volume throughout the day, but be cautious not to go overboard as that might make one's hair sticky and weighed-down. After gym or on occasions that I feel like my hair is getting oily (rarely because my hair tends more to the dry side), I use dry shampoo. My favourite dry shampoo brand is Batiste. I tried two of their available scents before - Original and Tropical. My boyfriend hates the tropical scent, which in my opinion reminds me of coconuts. Indeed, the coconut fragrance can be too overwhelming so I will definitely stick to the regular unscented version.
