IPSA Clearup Lotion

IPSA Clearup Lotion comes in two formulae to tackle the causes of corneocyte multi-layering:

Clearup Lotion 1: Specifically made to tackle corneocyte multi-layering caused by excess sebum secretion, it adopts the sebum-dissolving soft micro ball technology to mildly soften and remove dead corneocytes while clearing the grease and dirt in pores. The sebum balance of the skin is maintained for a fresh feeling.

Clearup Lotion 2: Specifically made to tackle hardened corneocytes caused by dryness, it is designed with the grape seed oil formula that mildly softens and removes dead corneocytes while providing a moisturizing effect for a translucent complexion.

I bought Clearup Lotion 1 because I do not want oil in my lotions. Prefer the IOPE lotion over this for now.

Fur Oil

Super obsessed with this body oil! Makes my skin feel really soft and supple to the touch. I only use it after waxing, since it purportedly helps with minimising ingrown hair. It smells like essential oils, but nothing too overpowering.

Petitfee Collagen & CoQ10 Hydrogel Eye Patch

As always, I am a big fan of eye patches and this product is no exception.Works well in moisturising the undereye area as well as providing slight tightening effect.

Nonetheless, I am still in the market for a holy grail eye mask so do leave your suggestions!

Clio Kill Black eyeliner

One of the better liquid eyeliners I have used to date! The sharp tip is very pigmented and allows for excellent control in drawing a thin, precise line.

Girl Undiscovered Stint In The Wilderness Body Scrub & Mask

Currently my absolute favourite body scrub. It exfoliates super well, without overly-stripping or leaving an uncomfortable oily residue.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mini lipstick set (The Power Pinks)

Tried & Tested: Huxley sheet masks

Huxley sheet masks come packaged in dual pouches - with cactus water essence and a gel-oil hybrid that you have to mix right before applying the mask. I found this step quite a hassle, so doubt I will re-purchase. Nonetheless, the quality of the mask was not bad. Huxley's specially designed biodegradable Skinny Sheet is also meant to fit tight to the skin, with superior absorption for enhanced hydration delivery.

Shangpree facial experience in Seoul

Decided to visit Shangpree spa while I was on a vacation in Seoul, Korea. Shangpree is widely visited by bloggers, influencers and celebrities including SongofStyle. Overall, I had quite an enjoyable 2 hour session.

The therapist started off by removing my make-up and cleansing my face. They also provided a quick head, neck and shoulders massage as well as a foot massage in the midst of the facial, and even wrapped a compression leg massager around my calves for some time. The therapist said they will apply different masks depending on the skin types and skin condition. My therapist said my skin was sensitive, so she applied a calming mask on me. My friend, however, was given a tightening mask. My skin felt super moisturised and looked glowy after the session.

 Received a sample of the Shangpree Gold Black Pearl Hydrogel Eye Mask and an ampoule post-session. I gave the ampoule to my mom, but tried the mask out to see if it is any different from the Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold Hydrogel Eye Masks that I had previously been using. I think they are quite similar, though Shangpree's eye masks are slightly more pricey.

Estelle & Thild Biocleanse Multi Action Cleansing Gel

One of the better cleansers I have used. Works well in removing make-up and impurities, without leaving a stripping feeling. Sephora Singapore used to stock the Estelle & Thild line, but it has since been pulled I believe.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask

Love this sheet mask! The jelly texture feels light and cooling on my skin.

Cle de Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation

My favourite liquid foundation at the moment! Provides flawless full coverage without looking overly-matte. Does not oxidise and has quite amazing staying power. I am obsessed!

Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray

I don't typically use setting sprays but when I first tried this out, I noticed that it really did keep my make-up looking glowy and more radiant.

Zoeva Strobe Gel (halo)

I do not like this strobe gel highlighter as the product does not go on as concentrated as I would like.

Mamonde Creamy Multi Colour Balms

I use #7 Dark Ginger as a bronzing contour stick - works perfectly for my skin tone.

I was previously using #5 Sugar Gold as a highlighter stick, but noticed that it caused my base make-up to clump so I stopped using it.

Perricone No Foundation Foundation

A good foundation - provides full, dewy coverage without drying out the skin.

Pixi Rose Flash Balm

Favourite primer!

Smells so good and keeps my make-up looking fresh and dewy all day long!

Sisley Double Tenseur Instant & Long-Term Lifting Primer

This primer is a cult favourite and that was also the reason why I purchased it. Though it has a slightly funky scent, it really does work well in extending the wear of my make-up. However, it is on the pricier side and I found another primer that works better - Pixi Rose Flash Balm - so doubt I will re-purchase.
