Huxley sheet masks come packaged in dual pouches - with cactus water essence and a gel-oil hybrid that you have to mix right before applying the mask. I found this step quite a hassle, so doubt I will re-purchase. Nonetheless, the quality of the mask was not bad. Huxley's specially designed biodegradable Skinny Sheet is also meant to fit tight to the skin, with superior absorption for enhanced hydration delivery.

Shangpree facial experience in Seoul

Decided to visit Shangpree spa while I was on a vacation in Seoul, Korea. Shangpree is widely visited by bloggers, influencers and celebrities including SongofStyle. Overall, I had quite an enjoyable 2 hour session.

The therapist started off by removing my make-up and cleansing my face. They also provided a quick head, neck and shoulders massage as well as a foot massage in the midst of the facial, and even wrapped a compression leg massager around my calves for some time. The therapist said they will apply different masks depending on the skin types and skin condition. My therapist said my skin was sensitive, so she applied a calming mask on me. My friend, however, was given a tightening mask. My skin felt super moisturised and looked glowy after the session.

 Received a sample of the Shangpree Gold Black Pearl Hydrogel Eye Mask and an ampoule post-session. I gave the ampoule to my mom, but tried the mask out to see if it is any different from the Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold Hydrogel Eye Masks that I had previously been using. I think they are quite similar, though Shangpree's eye masks are slightly more pricey.

Estelle & Thild Biocleanse Multi Action Cleansing Gel

One of the better cleansers I have used. Works well in removing make-up and impurities, without leaving a stripping feeling. Sephora Singapore used to stock the Estelle & Thild line, but it has since been pulled I believe.

Love this sheet mask! The jelly texture feels light and cooling on my skin.

My favourite liquid foundation at the moment! Provides flawless full coverage without looking overly-matte. Does not oxidise and has quite amazing staying power. I am obsessed!

Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray

I don't typically use setting sprays but when I first tried this out, I noticed that it really did keep my make-up looking glowy and more radiant.

Zoeva Strobe Gel (halo)

I do not like this strobe gel highlighter as the product does not go on as concentrated as I would like.

Mamonde Creamy Multi Colour Balms

I use #7 Dark Ginger as a bronzing contour stick - works perfectly for my skin tone.

I was previously using #5 Sugar Gold as a highlighter stick, but noticed that it caused my base make-up to clump so I stopped using it.

Perricone No Foundation Foundation

A good foundation - provides full, dewy coverage without drying out the skin.

Pixi Rose Flash Balm

Favourite primer!

Smells so good and keeps my make-up looking fresh and dewy all day long!

Sisley Double Tenseur Instant & Long-Term Lifting Primer

This primer is a cult favourite and that was also the reason why I purchased it. Though it has a slightly funky scent, it really does work well in extending the wear of my make-up. However, it is on the pricier side and I found another primer that works better - Pixi Rose Flash Balm - so doubt I will re-purchase.

I bought this to use on my undereye area but did not quite fancy it.

Covermark Moisture Veil Creamy Liquid

I used the shade MN20 but I think it could have been a tad too dark for me. While the coverage is sufficient, the foundation tends to oxidise after awhile and does not last on me.

Givenchy Prisme Visage Silky Face Powder Quartet

How stunning is this pressed powder? It also harbours a super pleasant scent! Love it!

Verso Super Eye Serum

Love this eye cream! I use it approximately twice a week and the retinol content really helps with diminishing fine lines as well as tightening and hydrating the undereye area.

InstaNatural Retinol Serum

If you intend to use any retinol products, do remember to start off with an extremely tiny amount to get your skin used to it first. My skin peeled a little bit when I first applied a small amount of this all over my face, so I cut the amount in subsequent usage to just a tiny drop. I use this very infrequently - probably once a month. I think I can step up the frequency but it does dry my skin out a bit the next day.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

I use the shade 'light sand', which is way too fair for me. It leaves a white cast on my undereye area while I use it as a standalone product, so now I just layer a tad of it over another undereye concealer.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer

I use the shade 190 on both the undereye area and for the coverage of blemishes. Thought it was not bad a concealer but nothing spectacular.

Obsessed with this line of hair care products, especially the conditioner!

JayJun Baby Pure Shining Mask

This is one of those three-steps mask. First, you apply the blooming essence (top left sachet) all over your face. Next, you put the sheet mask (largest sachet) on and let it sit for a bit - per a regular sheet mask. Lastly, remove the sheet mask and apply the hydro eye cream (top right sachet). Found the whole process so extra, lol. Also found the eye cream too thick for my liking, and it sort of smells like shampoo as well. The mask itself was alright. This is considered a cult product, but I do not understand the hype and will not re-purchase.

Pixi Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths

My favourite make-up removing wipes at the moment. Works well, smells nice and comes in quite a pretty packaging.

Pixi Glow Tonic To-Go Exfoliating Toner Pads

Love these toner pads! So easy to carry around and convenient to use on flights and while travelling. I mainly use it to wipe down my face after I remove a sheet mask, just to get rid of excess mask residue and exfoliate my face a little before proceeding with the rest of my skincare routine.

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser

"A gentle cleansing product formulated to target makeup removal whilst leaving the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. I personally dislike this cleanser. Think it works okay as a regular cleanser, but it does not remove make-up well.

The Ordinary 'Buffet' Multi-Technology Peptide Serum

Extremely cheap serum. However, I did not see any results. It also has a slightly unpleasant scent, though not super strong and does not bother me much. 

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm

MY HOLY GRAIL MAKE-UP REMOVER. Takes off all make-up easily without any residue. Does not dry out my face post-use. I am obsessed!

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

Quite enjoy using this hair mask. No strong fragrance and my mane does feel smooth and non-frizzy post application. I use it about once a week.

Shiseido Aquair Conditioner

Don't think this conditioner works very well - not moisturising enough in my opinion. Although it is quite wallet-friendly, I will not re-purchase.
